Indoprima Group Holds Henkaten 2026 Training to Improve Operational Agility

Surabaya – In an ongoing effort to achieve operational excellence, Indoprima Group successfully held a training program titled "Training Henkaten: To Achieve Excellent Productivity" last January.

The training was attended by line management and key staff from various departments. The main focus of this activity was to strengthen employees' understanding of the Henkaten concept—a Japanese manufacturing term referring to "change management" across the four primary elements of production: Man, Machine, Material, and Method (4M).

Why is Henkaten Important?

In a dynamic industrial environment, even small changes in any of these elements can have a significant impact on production quality and output. This training aimed to empower personnel to:

• Detect early changes (abnormalities) occurring in the work area.

• Perform rapid risk mitigation to prevent defective products (rejects).

• Standardize responses to changes to maintain productivity stability.

Event Highlights

During the training, participants received more than just theoretical explanations; they engaged in interactive discussions and real-world case studies commonly found on the production floor. Under the guidance of expert instructors, participants were encouraged to think critically when formulating effective countermeasures for sudden changes on the production line.
