Participants of Cak & Yuk Gresik 2023 Start a New Initiative by Visiting Several Industries in the Gresik Area in an Activity Titled Industrial Visit

Participants of Cak & Yuk Gresik 2023 have initiated a new activity by visiting several industries in the Gresik area, in an event titled Industrial Visit. This activity is being held for the first time to enhance the understanding of the industrial world among Gresik’s tourism ambassadors.

The Head of the Tourism, Creative Economy, Culture, Youth, and Sports Office (Disparekrabudpora) of Gresik Regency Government, Drg. Syaifuddin Ghozali, stated that the aim of this visitation activity is to promote the advantages of investing in Kota Wali to the Cak Yuk finalists.

"The Cak Yuk finalists are not only expected to be proficient in explaining history and culture but also to support the growth of investments in Gresik," said Drg. Syaifuddin Ghozali. "With the support of the Cak and Yuk finalists, we hope that many investors will be attracted to Gresik in the future, ultimately increasing our Regional Original Revenue (PAD)."

The Cak Yuk Gresik visit to the industrial sector is facilitated by the Gresik Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin). The finalists are expected to convey the advantages of establishing businesses in Gresik, both directly and through their social media platforms.

One of the companies visited in the Industrial Visit program is PT Indospring, Tbk. At PT Indospring, Tbk, all participants were given in-depth explanations about the company’s business and a plant tour to provide a direct view of the company's production processes and operations.

It is hoped that this visit will not only provide new insights for the participants of Cak & Yuk Gresik 2023 but also serve as a starting point in strengthening the relationship between the tourism and industrial sectors in Gresik, as well as opening wider investment opportunities for regional development.
